Presentation of the New Benetti B.Neos with MAN Smart HYBRID Experience

Tonissi Marine was pleased to attend, alongside MAN Engines – A Business Unit of MAN Truck & Bus SE, the official presentation of the new Benetti B.Neos in Montecarlo.

The event marked an important milestone in the evolution of sustainable yachting, highlighting innovative propulsion solutions designed to combine performance, efficiency and environmental responsibility.

The new 40-meter Benetti B.Neos is equipped with an advanced MAN Smart HYBRID Experience system, integrating two MAN V8-900 engines with two 200 kW electric motors. This configuration enables locally silent and emission-free operation in ports and protected areas, significantly reducing noise and vibrations while enhancing onboard comfort.

Developed in close cooperation with Benetti, the hybrid solution sets a new benchmark for forward-looking performance in modern yachting. The system optimizes operational flexibility, improves overall efficiency and introduces battery-electric capabilities that support the transition toward more sustainable navigation.
